Topinabee is an unincorporated community on the southwest shore of Mullett Lake in Cheboygan County. It is on M-27 about 15 miles southwest of Cheboygan. The Topinabee ZIP code 49791 provides P.O. Topinabee was founded in 1881 and consists of a small village center with a United States Postal Service office, hardware, tavern, breakfast cafe and a small market that includes a gas station, fresh deli and pizzeria.
