Founded by Benjamin Boughey about 1885, who moved here to go into the lumbering business. He named it Cedar City because it was located in a cedar forest, and its depot is still named such. Adjacent to their tasting room is the Cedar Rustic Inn where chef Ackley serves breakfast, lunch and dinner in a dining room decorated with sculptor that Linda Eaker made.
